Similar to the architectural concept, the catering area at bauma Shanghai was split into different zones. While the public accessible cafeteria on the ground floor offered high quality food and beverages to all visitors, on the upper floor the guests in the meeting rooms and in the VIP-area indulged themselves in really exclusive cuisine prepared in an open show kitchen. Every day during lunchtime, they were offered various 3-course meals – each menu a fusion of western and far-eastern cuisine.
The color green symbolized the focus on ‘sustainability’. Besides the graphic design this ‘green’ concept could easily be realized in interior decoration. E.g. we installed fern plants, which were suspended from the ceiling in ‘skyplanters’.
